Troop Meetings:

  • Held the first three Mondays of every month.
  • 7:00 PM - 8:30 PM.
  • At the Lionville Community Methodist Church.
  • Class A uniforms should be worn on the first Monday of each month. (Full Uniform)
  • Class B uniforms should be worn at all other meetings. (Troop Shirt)
  • No troop meetings on the last Monday of each month. Committee Meetings and Green Bars are held that evening.
  • Our scoutmaster is Dave McFadden

Committee Meetings:

  • Held the last Monday of each month
  • 7:30 PM
  • Plans for the troop.
  • All Parents are welcome to attend and participate.

Outings:

  • Usually depart Friday night from the church.
  • Fathers are encouraged to attend and participate.
  • Scouts should travel in their uniforms.

  • There is usually an outing once a month.
  • Usually return early Sunday.

Other Information:

  • Troop 83 has been in existence for 60 years (1951-2010).
  • Trash pickup is done 3 or 4 times per year.
  • Our troop is part of the Horseshoe Trail district of Chester County Council.
  • Our troop has had a total of 71 Eagle Scouts.
