High Adventure

Older scouts can go on a 10+ day adventures during the summer. These include: backpacking, canoeing, and sailing. In order to participate, scouts must be 14 years old or be 13 and have completed 8th grade. Our troop plans on going  to Philmont in 2007, and has just completed Sea Base in 2006. We have a three year rotation between Philmont, Sea Base, and Northern Tier. On every High Adventure, we take 2-3 adults and 7-12 scouts.
